“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” – Barack Obama

Powerful, right?

So why do we often do the opposite? Why haven’t you made your next step yet?

It’s tempting to:

  • Wait for someone else permission and hoping to avoid responsibility.
  • Decide to wait another few more months before starting your new project, and letting procrastination and randomness drive your life.
  • Exchange happiness for certainty, even if you already know that “your present” is not what you truly want.

These don’t work. I tried those “escapes” in the past too, and the only results you can be certain of are these:

  • Lost of time
  • Negative impact on your health resulting from increased frustration and stress
  • Regrets

What works is this:  Starting today, taking consistent action steps, and developing a set of empowering beliefs that will support you along your change process.

These are 3 Core Beliefs that are essential for your long-lasting change:

1.You must believe “something MUST change”

Forget about: I should lose weight; My relationship should improve; I should be doing what I love….etc. Turn your shoulds and coulds into musts and you will truly start shifting your life.

2.You must believe “ I MUST change it”

You must see yourself as a source of this change. Stop waiting for permission and stop procrastinating. It’s all in your own hands. Permission granted.

3.You must believe “ I CAN change it”

You must believe that you can do it. You can hire a coach to help you achieve the results you desire faster and more strategically. But in the end, you have to be the source of your change.

I know you can do it! 🙂

With love and encouragement,

Lena
