Everything worthwhile takes time, energy and massive commitment. Your relationships, health and, especially, the growth of your career.
Can you imagine what life would look like if you stopped caring about all the things that don’t matter, so you had more time and energy to care about the things that really do?
Lately, I’ve been on a personal mission – to eliminate unnecessary distractions and negative emotions while working on my first book.
We can all make more of our precious time by making focus and simplicity our strongest allies in life.
Next time, when you feel like falling into a busyness trap or aimlessly scrolling your social media feeds – Ask yourself these 3 powerful questions:
Where my focus should be right now?
How can I simplify my work to amplify the results?
What can I do to work smarter and not harder?
Now, I’m not saying that this is easy – Be patient with yourself. By practicing regularly with these questions, your focus will start shifting.
I love this quote from Steve Jobs : “Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.”
Now, I’d love to hear from you:
What’s the one thing that you could do less of OR totally eliminate to make more time for the things that truly matter to you?
Let me know in the comments below.
With so much love and appreciation,
