Are you often thinking about your past?

Reviving a sad story from your childhood, school, work or a failed relationship?

Sometimes, we get stuck in those painful memories and the more we think about them, the harder it seems to escape them. Unresolved negative emotions may sabotage your future.

Neither thinking too much about your past nor running away from it is a good strategy.

That’s why, I’d like to offer you a perspective that once helped me. I learnt it from my coaching teacher and master, Dr. Richard Bandler and here’s the lesson: “The best thing about the past is that it’s over.”

No matter how hard you try thinking about it – you cannot change your past but you can create a better future.

Learn from your past, don’t live in it.

Instead of obsessing over the things you can’t change – focus on what you CAN: your attitude, beliefs and energy about the experience. Don’t look back, unless it’s to see how far you’ve come.

Let go and move on. A brighter future awaits you!

With love and magic,

Lena
